T & S Vegetarian Supply (达善斋料)

In some of my posts, I have mentioned about vegetarian food suppliers in SG. I must say that one of the biggest is friendly vegetarian supply as there is even a free delivery service. In fact, if you buy frequently, most suppliers do provide such a service at a minimum amount that you order.
Anyway, thanks to miumiu for this contribution again, as this is one of the supplier located in Hougang. Some suppliers do sell other items like the vegetarian sauces, canned food, seasoning sauces, maggie noodles etc.

This stall is located at the other end of the famous Nature Vegetarian Delights and it’s only a 10 minutes walk from Hougang Central. You can also walk from Punggol Park. Basically, half of the shop sells vegetarian eggless cakes and bread while the other half provides vegetarian food supply.
Most of the small breads are sold at 80cents each while the Meat Floss bread is sold at $1. There is a promotion when you buy 4 of the 80cents bread; it simply cost $3 instead of $3.20. Personally, I like the Whole Grain Bread ($1.80) as it’s appetizing even if you eat it without any jam. You could then taste the sweetness of the bread and the nuts in it really enhances the mouth feel.

Location: Blk 356 Hougang Ave 7 #01-783
Telephone: 6280 9477
*Do give them a call before you go as most suppliers operate half day only.

Divine Realm Vegetarian Cafe (天运素食园)

The owner of this cafe used to own a restaurant near lavender area. However, due to the high costs, they have decided to move to Hougang. Anyway, the specialty food here is Ramen (La-mien) whereby there are quite a few chinese chefs who are experts in hand-making the noodles. Multiple Flavours at only $3.50 per Bowl. It is definitely a cheap deal!

担担拉面 (Dan Dan Ramen)

Roti John (Herbs Bread with Curry) $3 per set

The Roti John sold here is a HIT as the bread is served hot and crispy, and the curry comes with chicken chunks. Even my uncle who dislikes vegetarian food loves this!

Claypot Rice $4.50

I would say the claypot rice is not really worth a try, as the rice is not really crunchy at the bottom. However, the ingredients are a lot.
