Cafe Salivation

I've yet visited this place even though there has been much hype and discussion in the forums. The meet up group has also organised a gathering here filling up almost every seat at this 2 storeys cafe. Sunnietart went a couple of days ago and has been talking about how GOOD the food was. This cafe is owned by the same group as the successful Raj Restaurant in Singapore. It is definitely a new venture into non-indian vegetarian fare by creating various options for all.

Veggie Soya Burger (Price Unknown)

Picture taken from sunnietart's FB

She took the soya burger and found that the veggie patty is light and soft unlike the usual mock patty. The mushroom soup was also tasty but was too late for a picture by the time she remembered.

Other than these 2 dishes, Cafe Salivation’s menu also includes Italian food like pasta and pizzas as well as Mexican dishes like Enchilada & Quesadilla. It is definitely a new avenue for vegetarians in Singapore. *Some dishes do include garlic/onion. Do enquire the staff for more info while placing your orders.

All in all, it is a neat and clean place that is strategically located right opposite Mustafa. Its good ambience and service has certainly leave a good impression for all. I guess 7 sensations has got a strong competitor now.

  4. Been there last year, had the Burger. Yummy. Cosy cafe and lovely pink deco ...

Yeah, there are some real good veg*n eateries, but unfortunately, haven't really penetrated to the masses yet …

There is one thing that need to be done, is to change the mindset … we can’t just depend on Vegetarians alone, the target audience should be non-vegetarians enjoying more meatless meal …

    Cheers : )
